It isn't that man shouldn't play god. Fuck, man playing god is the reason for every technological, medicinal and weapons development-related breakthrough of the past century. Man has evolved the knowlege to build the toys that allow him to do so, and in this new age the toys keep getting more fucking fun by the second.
It's the reason why all big governments have lasted as long as they have, and why any that wish to last will continue tinkering with the genome, researching stem cells and furthering technology and it's savage promise to the point of no return.
No, the moral isn't that aging catchphrase that man shouldn't play god.
The lesson is, and for future reference you should REALLY pay attention, that if in the midst of man's playtime he should create or disturb something that man cannot control: Burn the dead and kill the dying/infected at any cost.
